Copper In Demand After Testing Three Week Low
07-Dec-18   17:25 Hrs IST
COMEX Copper edged up as equities tried to shrug off the uncertainty on global trade flows. Bargain buying also supported the sentiments after the prices fell to three week low yesterday. The COMEX Copper futures are currently quoting at $2.76 per pound, up 0.62% on the day. The metal eased off intraday highs after data showed that German industrial production dropped 0.5% in October from September, when it grew 0.1%. The latest fall was the first since a 1% slump in July. However, the equities are doing well in Europe with the FTSE and CAC spurting more than percent and the DAX rising by half a percent. MCX Copper futures are currently quoting at Rs 435.10 per kg, up 0.80% on the day.
